Johnny, I have been reading your blog and am interested in how you went about getting a job in Taiwan. My wife and I are looking into moving to Taipei to teach English and I wondered if you would mind providing us with websites or contacts you have there?? Any help you offer is appreciated. I showed up in Taiwan and stayed at a hotel and went door to door at whatever looked like a language school. There is also a great website (tealit.com) that has tons of jobs advertised all over Taiwan. I also just heard of another one (taiwandeal.com). Maybe the fastest and safest way, and what I ended up doing, is going through an agency. I strongly recommend Asian Consultants (info@asianconsultants.com). Julie really helped me out and found me an awesome job. That should get you started but let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck!
